This 146-bed short-term acute care hospital holds a Level IV trauma designation and maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support outpatient and clinic-based urological services. The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized urological care, with medical assistant support available to assist with clinical operations. Established workflows are in place to facilitate coordinated patient care throughout each assigned coverage period.

Arizona offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor recreational and cultural attractions throughout the state. The region features destinations such as the Grand Canyon, Saguaro National Park, Sabino Canyon, and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, with year-round activities including hiking, hot air balloon flights, off-road Jeep tours, and water-based pursuits such as tubing and kayaking along the Salt River. Family-oriented attractions such as the Arizona Science Center and McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park are also available, and the area serves as a practical base for day trips to destinations including Sedona and Monument Valley, providing clinicians with varied options during time away from clinical responsibilities.

This locum tenens assignment requires a urologist to provide outpatient and clinic-based urological coverage on a day shift schedule at an on-site facility in Arizona, with coverage spanning November through March on an ongoing basis. Clinical responsibilities include managing new and established clinic patients and performing procedures such as cystoscopies, prostate biopsies, and vasectomies. Surgical coverage encompasses both robotic and non-robotic procedures in accordance with facility protocols. Board certification in Urology is required for consideration, and medical assistant support is available throughout each assigned coverage period.
