This 228-bed facility holds a Level IV trauma designation and maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support locum tenens vascular surgery coverage across inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and emergency room settings. The facility operates on-site and provides the resources required to facilitate coordinated patient care throughout each assigned coverage period. Established workflows are in place to support continuity of vascular surgery services across all designated call assignments.

Arizona offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and recreational activities throughout the state. The region features diverse natural landscapes, including geological sites, wildlife viewing areas, and opportunities for hiking and golf. Additional cultural and scientific attractions are available across the state, providing clinicians with varied options during time away from clinical responsibilities.

Clinicians will provide 24-hour call coverage for vascular surgery services across inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and emergency room settings at an on-site facility in Arizona, with coverage spanning October through January. Clinical responsibilities include cath lab procedures such as angiograms (upper and lower extremity, renal, AV fistulogram) and venograms, as well as OR procedures including AV fistula revision and transposition, bypass surgeries (aortobiliac, axillofemoral, femoral, fem-pop), carotid endarterectomy, femoral endarterectomy, RFA, hybrid cases, EVAR, TCAR, and TEVAR. Clinic coverage is also a required component of this assignment in conjunction with 24-hour call responsibilities. Board certification in Vascular Surgery is required for consideration.
