Assembly Technician

Electromechanical AssemblersCan you SOLDER?? IMMEDIATELY HIRING: Electromechanical Assemblers! Paying competitively, nationally recognized company, long-term career!The primary duty of this role is the electrical assembly and soldering using small hand and/or power tools. You will be responsible for the final assembly of robots, as well as testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies.Responsibilities:Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies of robots using hand and power tools.Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.Assemble robots according to provided blueprints, drawings, or schematics.Essential Skills:Minimum of 12 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, specifically with electronics.Soldering experience necessary - even just some exposure helps!Experience in reading electrical schematics.Proficiency with hand tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools.Experience working with circuit boards is a plus, but not necessary.Why Work Here?This company makes products for the military, Navy, and Coast Guard, as well as police forces. The 40,000 square feet facility operates on a 1st shift Monday-Friday work schedule.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
