Neuro ICU Nurse

Seeking experienced Neuro ICU Nurse to provide specialized care for neurological patients in a dynamic healthcare environment. The role involves managing complex neurological conditions and supporting patient recovery through expert clinical interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and monitor neurological patients to detect changes in condition and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Support patient and family education regarding neurological conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical safety standards and travel compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license with current NCLEX certification.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in neuro-critical care or equivalent unit.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically EPIC, with at least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to respond swiftly to neurological emergencies.
• Ability to sustain physical and mental stamina in a fast-paced environment.
