Project Manager

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 DOE + Annual Bonus + Profit Sharing Fit Recruiting is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager for an established general contractor in Mobile, Alabama. This is an in-office position offering a strong compensation package and long-term growth opportunity. We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in general contracting who can successfully manage commercial construction projects from start to finish. Experience with retail and ground-up construction projects is highly preferred. Key Duties & Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects Oversee project schedules, RFIs, budgets, cost control and documentation Prepare bid packages and subcontractor scopes of work Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials and field operations Lead project meetings and maintain communication with clients and project teams Monitor project progress, schedules and actual vs. estimated costs Participate in project buyout, contract negotiations and closeout Manage multiple projects concurrently Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors and internal teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering or a related field 4–6+ years of progressive commercial construction project management experience General contractor (GC) experience required Retail and/or ground-up commercial construction experience highly preferred Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors and deadlines Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with Procore, Sage, Bluebeam and MS Project Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously $110,000–$130,000 salary, depending on experience Annual bonus opportunity 10% profit sharing 401(k) contributions Additional company benefits This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial construction professional looking to join an established organization, take ownership of projects, and continue growing in their career.
