About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief of Staff to the CEO. The successful candidate will be a highly disciplined, adaptable, and mission-driven individual with a strong background in military operations, aerospace and defense, or a related leadership role. This role is pivotal in translating executive priorities into disciplined execution, creating leverage for the CEO and leadership team, and ensuring clear communication and action on priorities, decisions, commitments, and risks. The Chief of Staff will work across various functional teams to convert strategic direction into coordinated action and measurable follow-through, helping the company scale while maintaining a focus on speed, adaptability, and mission. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of progressive experience in a relevant field, with a preference for those with a background in aerospace, defense, unmanned aircraft systems, or a similar technology environment. The role requires a trusted partner to the CEO, with a proven track record of operating ownership and the ability to influence and drive execution across functions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, action-oriented, and relentless about follow-through, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience in a startup or growth-stage company, as well as familiarity with leadership operating processes and systems, is also desirable. The Chief of Staff will be expected to be operationally disciplined, comfortable with ambiguity, and capable of creating clarity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
