If you have experience in estate planning, you may be an excellent addition to our growing law firm. We are looking for a highly analytical candidate with good negotiation and organizational skills who can work full-time. As our estate planning attorney, you will draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for clients and their families. To ensure that an estate's management is handled in accordance with the wishes of the estate owner, this position requires a significant level of responsibility. The applicant we are looking for must have extensive knowledge of estate planning. If this sounds like you, please apply!
Compensation:$80,000
Responsibilities:- Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process
- Educate clients about options for retirement, donating to charity, and purchasing insurance
- Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
- Discuss plans with clients for distributing clients’ assets
- Keep client files properly organized and up to date
- Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
- Bachelor’s degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required
- Understanding of a variety of real estate matters, including title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation
- Candidates should be great communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high
- At least 1-2 years of working in a law firm on on estate planning and probate law issues is necessary
