Key Responsibilities

• Provide scrub technologist support within a high-volume surgical services department at a Magnet-designated acute care facility
• Assist surgical teams throughout operative procedures, maintaining sterile field and anticipating instrument and supply needs
• Document patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in weekend rotation - approximately one weekend shift every four weeks
• Commit to working three of five designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

• Minimum of 5 years of surgical technologist experience
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• Valid state license or compact license - must be in hand at time of submission
• All requested time off and scheduling needs must be disclosed at the time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be accommodated

• Experience in a Magnet-designated or large acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying surgical specialties and team dynamics

• Work within a well-regarded Magnet-designated acute care facility offering free on-site parking and scrubs provided for OR and L&D areas
• No on-call requirement and no floating between unlike units, offering a more predictable and focused work environment
