Job Title

Surgical Technologist – Surgical Services

Location

Mission Hills, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in the operating room within a Magnet-designated acute care facility
• Support surgical procedures across applicable service lines in accordance with facility protocols
• Chart and document accurately using Epic electronic health records system
• Adhere to all facility compliance, scheduling, and float policies as directed
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Participate in one weekend shift every four weeks as part of the expected schedule

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of surgical technologist experience
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• Valid state license or compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• No on-call requirement for this assignment
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of candidate submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working within a Magnet-designated or large acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience in OR and/or Labor & Delivery scrub roles
