Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required within the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to titrate drips, including heparin, Amio, Cardizem, and insulin drips. Must be able to interpret EKG.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro experience highly preferred.

Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding; 2 attempts are allowed. Day 1 pass/fail SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Travel Teams must have their own vehicles

Unit Details: Common diagnoses/patient population include trached patients, CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, encephalopathy, ESRD, psych issues, and brain tumors. Fast-paced, high-turnaround unit.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks. Worked into the permanent holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: Float to tele units and tele overflow in ICU.

Previous Employment Requirements: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
