Job Details:
Start date: September/October 2026 for additional support coverage
Hospital-based practice setting with 24-hour call responsibilities
Call schedule approximately 7 days per month with 24-hour shifts
Average of 1 surgical case per day with all age demographics
Currently 1 plastic surgeon in practice with 2 MAs and 1 front desk support
Perform comprehensive plastic surgery cases for trauma, adult, and pediatric patients
Handle general plastic surgery procedures including facial laceration repairs
Conduct scar revision, skin grafts, flaps, and facial surgery procedures
Trauma call coverage required as part of Level 2 trauma designation
Must be Board Certified in Plastic Surgery with fellowship training
Michigan medical license and ACLS certification required
Credentialing timeframe 90-120 days
Travel reimbursement includes flight, hotel, and rental car
Call back includes 4 gratis hours for 24-hour call shifts
