Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) - UNC Health Rockingham

UNC Health Rockingham Department UNC Health Rockingham has a current need for a Board Certified/Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician (MD/DO) to join our inpatient Hospitalist team. About the Opportunity: Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of inpatient experience and clinical support on Hospitalist team Average daily census of 28-32 (total) Specialty and Subspecialty support includes Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, Orthopedics Physician will average 14 Day Shifts Per Month (12 hours, 7 am-7 pm) Open ICU with support from Registered Nurses, Cardiac Technicians and Respiratory Therapists About the Hospital: UNC Health Rockingham is a not-for-profit, 108-bed community hospital in Eden, NC. Professional Experience Requirements: Prefer prior hospitalist experience. Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English. REASONING ABILITY: High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
