JOB TITLE: Associate Buyer / Data Entry

Pay Rate: $25-$30hr contract 3-6 months

Department: Supply Chain
Reports to: Director of Supply Chain

The Associate Assistant Buyer supports purchasing and supply chain activities to ensure materials are available to meet production requirements. This position is responsible for data entry, maintaining accurate purchasing records in Microsoft Excel, tracking purchase orders, communicating with vendors, and supporting inventory accuracy.

• Enter, update, and maintain purchasing and inventory data in Microsoft Excel with a high degree of accuracy.
• Create, maintain, and track purchase orders and vendor information.
• Confirm purchase orders with vendors and follow up on material shortages or delays.
• Monitor material availability and communicate potential production impacts to internal teams.
• Purchase materials and services to support production and operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate PO dates, pricing, quantities, and delivery information.
• Assist with inventory tracking, reconciliation, and excess material management.
• Process and maintain debit memos and related documentation.
• Review material discrepancies and assist with resolution.
• Support cost savings and purchasing initiatives.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to monitor material requirements and availability.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other purchasing documentation.
• Assist with special projects and other supply chain activities as assigned.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and accurate data entry experience required.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal departments and vendors.
• Strong basic math skills, including percentages, decimals, and basic calculations.
• Prior purchasing, supply chain, inventory, administrative, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and use hands for computer and office-related tasks.
• Occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment as required.
