Buyer needs 3–5 years of experience in buyer and purchasing functions. Requires: Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems. Strong proficiency with MS Excel/SQL. Experience with purchasing and production-related scheduling, including lead times, payments, air shipping, and working with distributors. Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery). Duties: Develop weekly/monthly production plans and schedules, aligning manufacturing activities with sales forecasts and customer demand. Analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock, reducing excess while preventing shortages of raw materials and finished goods. Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, MES) to release manufacturing orders and manage inventory records.
