Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM; Tue: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM; Wed: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM; Thu: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM; Fri: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site. Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, observing activity, and following post orders for restricted or controlled areas. Support site personnel and first responders during emergencies, alarms, evacuations, and/or other unusual events while maintaining professionalism and clear communication. Minimum Requirements Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
