Are you a detail-oriented Histology Technologist looking for your next travel assignment? We are seeking an experienced Histology Tech for a 13-week contract in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-volume laboratory environment while earning competitive weekly pay.

Position Highlights:

Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104

⏰ Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts | Afternoon/Evening/Night Rotation

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $2,100

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

What You'll Do:

• Receive, accession, and verify tissue specimens for processing
• Prepare specimens through fixation, embedding, microtomy, and slide preparation
• Perform routine and special histological staining procedures
• Conduct immunohistochemistry and advanced tissue preparation techniques
• Assist with tissue grossing and specimen handling
• Maintain strict quality control and specimen identification standards
• Support laboratory quality assurance initiatives and data collection

Required Qualifications:

✔ Associate Degree in Histology or Natural Sciences

✔ ASCP Certification (HT, HTL, MLT, or MT)

✔ Strong knowledge of:

• Tissue processing
• Microtomy
• Special stains
• Immunohistochemistry

✔ Excellent attention to detail and specimen handling accuracy

✔ Strong communication and organizational skills

✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

⭐ Previous Histology laboratory experience (1+ year preferred)
