Print Production Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Print Production Associate for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for a hands-on print production professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail print center and has experience operating advanced print and finishing equipment.

The Print Production Associate will support daily print center operations, produce complex print projects, assist with team leadership and training, and help ensure high-quality, on-time completion of customer orders. Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily print center operations in a high-volume retail print production environment.
- Operate advanced print production and finishing equipment, including wide-format printers and laminators.
- Create, edit, format, and prepare print-ready files using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Troubleshoot production issues, equipment concerns, file-format problems, and quality inconsistencies.
- Support, lead, and train team members while helping prioritize production goals and project deadlines.
- Maintain strong quality control standards and ensure print orders are completed accurately and on time.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $20 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Flexibility is required, as operations run from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Contract type: Temp to perm.
- Location: Atlanta, GA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage daily operations of a high-volume print center.
- Produce complex print jobs, including wide-format printing and lamination.
- Prepare print-ready files and graphics for production.
- Lead, support, and train employees while managing multiple projects.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of related print production experience required.
- Retail or commercial print shop experience required.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, training, or team-lead experience required.
- Experience with wide-format printing and lamination required.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Experience with Fiery and advanced print equipment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience working with PDF, JPEG, PNG, and other common file formats.
- Strong attention to detail, quality control, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience staying current with print technology, production equipment, and industry trends.
- Ability to conduct both classroom-style and informal hands-on training.
- Proven ability to set realistic production goals and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
