AV Technician

Houston-based technology consulting firm, seeks to hire a Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Audio Visual technology, A/V design and Project Management. Ideal candidates will have their CTS or CTSD certification. In this position you will be responsible for meeting with clients and prospective clients to discover and understand their needs and requirements. Consultants manage projects from pre-sale through implementation and customer acceptance. On occasion, the Consultant will prepare change order documents based on customer requested additions or revisions. Responsibilities Interface with clients to discover their business challenges Present solution(s) to client based upon discovery meetings/discussions Manage assigned projects from pre-sale through implementation and customer acceptance. Work with other client subcontractors to avoid conflict and keep overall project on schedule Meet the firm's specific targeted goals for billable hours per project Provide excellent customer service from pre-sale through implementation and customer acceptance Qualifications Strong knowledge of Audio-Visual technology and design; experience project managing A/V implementations Knowledge of cable design and implementation; experience project managing cable implementations Project management experience in a technology setting Strong work ethic, plus a desire to continually learn and grow professionally Ability and desire to stay current with technological changes in the industry, keeping skills and knowledge level up to date Ability to handle deadline pressures and adapt to changes in project scope Excellent written and verbal communication skills Software CTS or CTS-D certification is required Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook is required #J-18808-Ljbffr
