The San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health invites qualified professionals to apply for the position of Licensed Clinical Therapists II for the Community Crisis Response Team (CCRT) . Licensed Clinical Therapists II assigned to CCRT provide field-based crisis response 365 days per year (including weekends and holidays) from 7:30am to 6:00pm and participate in the initial stages of disaster response on behalf of the Department of Behavioral Health. Field teams provide one-on-one crisis intervention wherever the individual is located. The Department's Crisis Contact Center (CCC) provides services Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 7:00pm. Licensed Clinical Therapists II assigned to the CCC will also work weekends and may work on holidays. Licensed Clinical Therapists II with both the CCRT and CCC teams work a 4/10 schedule. This Licensed Clinical Therapist II position provides clinical oversight and supervision to pre-licensed field-based teams as well as administrative support to the Clinic Supervisor. This position is a great initial step to becoming a leader within the Department and offers the opportunity to mentor and coach those beginning their careers in behavioral health. CCRT staff do not carry caseloads and are offered 4/10 schedules. The teams collaborate closely with law enforcement, schools, other Behavioral Health programs, and individuals and families of all ages and demographics and respond to disaster and critical incidents that occur in the county, providing brief crisis intervention support and therapeutic tools. Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Pre-Employment Process: Prior to appointment, applicants must pass a background investigation, which includes fingerprinting and medical exam, which may include drug and/or TB testing. Clinical Supervision Differential: Clinical therapists currently providing clinical supervision to Pre-Licensed Clinical Therapists or Pre-Licensed Psychologists are eligible for additional compensation.
