Fire Sprinkler Designer

Job Description A well-established and highly respected fire protection company is actively seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join their growing team. • Design and develop fire sprinkler systems including layouts, hydraulic calculations, and material/equipment selection
• Create and revise drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD/BIM platforms
• Ensure all designs meet NFPA standards, local codes, and project requirements
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare submittals, project documentation, and technical specifications
• Assist with project timelines, change orders, and ongoing design support

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler system design
• NICET certification is preferred but not required
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or related design software
• Strong understanding of NFPA codes and fire protection standards
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Education & Certifications:

• Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Equivalent industry experience will also be considered
• NICET Level II or higher is a plus
