Press Brake Operator

Job Description

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Press Brake Operators for a fabrication company in La Vergne, TN. Qualified candidates for will be self-motivated and work with limited supervision, setting up and operating a Press Brake to bend, form, and straighten metal stock according to blueprint or specifications.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. 1st shift position available! 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with opportunity for overtime. Responsibilities of the Press Brake Operator:

• Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department.
• Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
• Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.
• Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications of the Press Brake Operator:

• 3 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.
• Blueprint reading
• Good math skills
• G/D & T Knowledge and must pass test.
• Amada and Trumpf Brake experience a plus.
• Epicor experience a plus.
