Mitigation Coordinator

We're looking for the person who keeps every job on track from the office side. ServiceMaster by GBS is a family-owned, white-glove restoration company serving Long Island and the greater NYC metro area. We need a Mitigation Coordinator who's a stickler for the details, builds relationships easily, and can juggle a dozen moving pieces without dropping any of them. If you like solving problems and getting results, you'll fit right in.

What you'll do:

• Answer incoming calls, log new job losses, and get jobs scheduled
• Keep job documentation, photos, and notes accurate and organized
• Coordinate testing, pack-out/pack-in, and other vendor and subcontractor scheduling
• Follow up with insurance carriers and homeowners on payments and documentation
• Work closely with the mitigation manager, project managers, and technicians to keep every job moving
• Use QuickBooks to manage sales & expenses

What you bring:

• 2+ years in restoration, construction, or insurance-related administration (mitigation experience a plus)
• Strong communication skills and a professional, proactive attitude
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office/365; familiarity with job management or estimating software (Xactimate, Symbility) a plus

What we offer:

• $60,000$75,000/year based on experience
