Management Analyst

Major duties include:

• Providing qualitative and quantitative assessments of the wide range of Division operations.
• Assisting in the implementation of revised organizational structures and designing.
• Conducting studies of various complex processes including employee utilization, resource allocation, and delegations of authority.
• Tracking progress toward goals and facilitating work or program reviews to improve division results.
• Supporting management on significant issues such as: policies, goals & objectives, internal controls, and preparation of priority reports to the Director, VACO, and OFO.
• Preparing memorandums, letters, bulletins, and other written communication for leadership.
• Assisting or performing evaluations of the processes of various systematic analysis of operations to determine the level of quality & management factors of all program's areas.
• Maintaining various administrative controls to keep leadership informed in all applicable areas of responsibility.
• Reviewing existing circulars, directives, and other publications to assure they comply with applicable division, RO, VBA, and VA policies and procedures.
• Identifying opportunities to participate in community activities that enhance the public image of the VA, and specifically the Regional Office.
• Examining and analyzing office productivity data and briefing leadership on progress made in achieving performance goals, areas needing special attention, and suggested alternative remedial actions.
• Conducting ad-hoc assignments, as needed.
• Conducting the strategic communications program for the Regional Office with responsibility for developing and providing guidance involving all public affairs information, internal communications, Veterans' service organizations liaison, congressional and community relations activities and is the liaison for Veterans' service organizations, congressional staffs, community groups, professional organizations, etc.
• Liaise and coordinate initiatives requiring inter-team cooperation and action.
• Recommending solutions on inter-team issues and matters with external factors.

Work Schedule: Full time, 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday

Telework: This position is eligible for situational (ad hoc) telework only. The selectee is required to report to the official duty station each scheduled workday. Telework may be approved only on a case-by-case basis with supervisory approval. Routine or recurring telework is not authorized for this position.
