Aviation MX Tech/Line-NGF

Provide safe and efficient maintenance, including repair, engine run, taxi and troubleshooting aircraft at various MX locations as assigned to minimize delays, cancellations, and OOS impacts. Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks in accordance with the appropriate Manuals. Communicate exceptions as they occur and create accurate and complete write-ups with all inputs in a timely manner. Additionally, when there is no manager or lead onsite, accept the daily work release plan. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Education High School Diploma/GED. Current A&P Licenses required. Valid non-restricted driver license from the state of residence. Minimum Experience Thirty-six (36) months aircraft maintenance experience on turbine-powered aircraft that exceed 12,500 lbs. MEW. Previous experience does not include A&P school and training. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Determine aircraft system failures, troubleshoot and repair. Use test equipment. Interpret and adhere to all A/C manuals. Attain engine run and taxi certifications as directed. Attain aircraft tow operator certification as directed. Complete all aircraft parts replacement procedures. Maintain and service aircraft systems in a line and hangar environment. Have sufficient computer skills to access and complete electronic AML procedures and computer-based training modules. Meet all training requirements in a timely manner. Be aware of hazardous situations and handle emergencies as needed. Perform well in a fast-paced environment, working under specific deadlines and time constraints to meet flight schedule demands. Work well with others as part of a team and handle stressful situations. Remain alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment effectively. Communicate information and instructions in writing, verbally, or via radio equipment. Provide friendly service and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers. Work in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of the company. Perform all job functions within cramped and confined spaces, heights, hazardous areas, and various weather conditions. Climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods. Support, adhere to, and perform company and regulatory security-related directives. Obtain required airport certifications and approval of airport access. Lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver heavy A/C related components, parts, and equipment regularly. Be willing and able to work with and mentor new and inexperienced team members. Job Conditions FAA covered safety sensitive position.
