Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality perioperative care in the Operating Room. This position offers a mostly day shift schedule with regular call responsibilities and weekend on-call rotations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Respond promptly to clinical changes and emergencies in the OR.
• Assist with infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Proven experience in an Operating Room or perioperative setting.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
