About the Position

RN - Neuro (Operating Room)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | 10–12 call days per month with every third weekend on call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a neurology-focused operating room setting
• Assist surgical team during neuro procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Respond to on-call needs as scheduled, including weekend call rotations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical team members to deliver high-quality care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in an operating room setting
• Ability to work day shift hours and fulfill on-call requirements
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in neurology or neuro-surgical nursing
• Familiarity with surgical scrub and circulating roles in the OR
• Experience managing on-call responsibilities in a hospital environment
