Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled intraoperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room setting
• Scrub and/or circulate during open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Fulfill call obligations as required, approximately 10–12 days per month
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Hands-on experience in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
• Proficiency in scrub and/or circulator roles during cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Ability to meet call schedule requirements of approximately 10–12 days per month
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a travel or contract nursing capacity
• CNOR certification or equivalent cardiovascular nursing credential
• Familiarity with a wide range of cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
