What You’ll Do

• Manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies
• Support unassigned patients in a busy facility
• Cover the Obstetrics Emergency Department (OBED)
• Serve as surgical first assist as needed
• Provide backup support to Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)
• Respond swiftly to OB/GYN emergencies
• Perform surgical procedures, including Cesarean sections
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols

What You Need

• Active Texas Medical License
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• DEA registration
• Minimum 2 years of vaginal delivery and Cesarean section experience
• Strong clinical skills in emergency and surgical obstetrics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• IMLC certification or equivalent
• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Comfort supporting midwives and emergency preparedness
