As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Reserve in Irving, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring reliability, integrity, and teamwork to each shift while responding to site needs with agility and care.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out armed, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, with working conditions that may vary by site.
- Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations at a financial institution location.
- Support branch personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by reporting hazards, escalating concerns, and following post orders and applicable armed post protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
