Job Description:

The Social Media Specialist oversees the primary social media accounts to ensure brand consistency, accuracy, and alignment with company priorities. This role develops and maintains social listening and audience engagement strategies to monitor and identify emerging trends, inform content planning, and support recruitment and awareness goals. This is a hands-on role ideal for an experienced communications professional who enjoys writing, content creation, and collaborating across departments in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital and social media strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Manage primary social platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
• Create, write, adapt, and publish compelling content to promote events, programs, and initiatives
• Track engagement metrics and performance data; prepare regular reports and dashboards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Liberal Arts, or a related field
• High volume of social media posts and minimum of 5 years writing, social media marketing, or digital communications
• Proven success developing and executing social media strategies that drive awareness and engagement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a passion for storytelling
