Finance IT Product Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance IT Product Manager to own and drive the Record to Report (R2R) track from an IT perspective. This role will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to deliver scalable finance technology solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment. Responsibilities Own and manage the Record to Report (R2R) process and related systems Partner with stakeholders across General Ledger, Tax, Fixed Assets, Accounting, Commissions, Financial Close, Intercompany, Reconciliations, and related functions Gather, document, and translate business requirements into effective system solutions Manage finance applications including NetSuite, BlackLine, Xactly , and related accounting systems Drive end-to-end project delivery from requirements through implementation, user adoption, and support Coordinate onsite and offshore teams to ensure successful project execution Conduct UAT sessions and provide training to business and IT teams Collaborate with vendors to understand new features and resolve product issues Communicate system upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality proactively Leverage AI technologies and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field 10+ years of experience in Business Systems, Finance Technology, or Analytics 8+ years of experience supporting Accounting Operations with deep Record to Report (R2R) process expertise 5+ years of hands‑on NetSuite implementation and administration experience Experience with ASC 606 accounting regulations and financial system implementations Experience with Xactly Commission Expense Accounting (CEA) is a plus Strong knowledge of: Record to Report (R2R) Procure to Pay (P2P) Order to Cash (O2C) Revenue Recognition Forecasting and Financial Planning Hands‑on experience with SaaS/Cloud finance platforms such as: NetSuite (Required) BlackLine Xactly Experience supporting SOX compliance and governance processes Strong stakeholder management and program leadership skills Experience working within onsite/offshore delivery models Proven experience implementing or utilizing AI solutions to improve operational efficiencies Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms is highly preferred Key Skills Strong business process and systems‑thinking mindset Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and collaborative team player Interested candidates who are local to Palo Alto, CA and meet the above requirements are encouraged to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr Synapse Flow
