Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM Every other holiday and every other weekend.

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Normal

Requirements:

• Valid nursing license
• Experience in Medsurg, Swing Bed, or PCU care as applicable
• Familiarity with medication administration and patient care protocols

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for individuals on Medsurg, Swing Bed, and PCU units.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and patient safety.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Engage in the unit's committee activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Compliance / Notes:

• No on-call requirements.
• Engagement in committees is encouraged.
