It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors.Summary:The Payroll Specialist supports the payroll department by accurately processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with wage and hour regulations and policies, and providing excellent service to employees. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following:Prepare and process weekly and bi-weekly payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsReview, reconcile, and audit employee timecards for accuracyEnsure accurate setup and processing of payroll items including earnings, deductions, and taxesGenerate payroll reports as needed, including certified payroll reportsIssue and distribute paychecks and pay statements within required timelinesMonitor wage and hour compliance and support audits as requiredPerform payroll-related data entry and general administrative tasksAssist with special payroll projects as assignedRespond to employee payroll questions and concerns in a timely and professional mannerProvide training and guidance to employees on payroll-related systems, including timekeeping and online pay statement accessRespond to employment and third-party verification requestsCollaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll issuesRequired Education and/or Experience:3–5 years of payroll processing experienceHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with ADP preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive informationStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesAbility to quickly learn new systems and processesAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesBenefitsHealth insurance401(k) matchingVision insuranceDental insuranceLife insuranceDisability insurancePaid holidaysPTO/Vacation/Sick
