About us

TPG Management is a New Jersey residential property management company managing 600+ rental units across North and Central NJ. Our portfolio runs from single-family homes to 100-unit buildings. We're a growing team that runs on AppFolio and holds itself to clear processes and fast follow-through.

The role

You'll own the operational side of our portfolio: unit turns, move-outs, maintenance coordination, compliance, evictions and new property onboarding. The role splits time between the office and the field. The goal is to promote you to Property Manager within 3-6 months, running your own portfolio of small multifamily and multifamily buildings.

What you'll do

• Own the move-out process from notice to deposit return
\n
• Walk units before turns, recommend scope, and prepare turn estimates
\n
• Get owner approval on turn estimates and oversee turn work through completion
\n
• Run quality control checks so every scope item is done before a unit is handed off
\n
• Help oversee and coordinate larger capex projects
\n
• Coordinate maintenance with our maintenance team and outside vendors
\n
• Get and compare vendor estimates and present them to owners for approval
\n
• Handle township compliance: annual rental registrations, state registrations, CCOs and inspections
\n
• Resolve township violations as they come up
\n
• Work with Housing Authorities on Section 8 rent increases and the documents needed for lease renewals
\n
• Manage the eviction process once the Property Manager approves it, working with outside counsel on notices and filings
\n
• Conduct onboarding walks on new properties: condition, systems, access and compliance status
\n
• Manage keys, fobs, lockboxes and access codes across the portfolio
\n
• Adapt as the company grows: take on new responsibilities, improve our processes, and grow with us
\n

What we're looking for

\n
• Comfortable walking units, scoping work, and reviewing contractor estimates
\n
• Organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through on deadlines
\n
• Clear, professional communicator with owners, vendors, tenants and township officials
\n
• Knowledge of NJ rental registrations, CCOs or the eviction process is a plus
\n
• AppFolio or similar software experience is a plus
\n
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular property visits
\n

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, based in Springfield, NJ with regular field work

Pay and benefits

• $48,500 - $58,500

• $350 Monthly Vehicle Allowance
