Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Rochester, MinnesotaPay: $28 - $32 per hour Schedule: 40 hours per week, occasional weekends as needed. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Metes and Bounds at our Valley View Estates and South Ridge Townhomes properties.This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and interested in learning the maintenance field while getting paid to develop new skills. You'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced team members while helping maintain and improve our townhome community.Key Responsibilities:Preparing apartments for new residents, including light repairs and paintingGeneral maintenance tasks such as basic carpentry and minor repairsSupport routine property upkeep and grounds maintenanceRespond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional mannerParticipate in an on-call rotation with other properties as neededTravel between nearby properties using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)What We're Looking For:Positive attitude and willingness to learnStrong work ethic and reliabilityBasic mechanical aptitude or interest in maintenance workAbility to communicate effectively with residents and team membersBasic computer skillsReliable transportation requiredAbility to pass a background checkYou will need to obtain your boiler's license with the first 90 days of employment.This role is a great starting opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the maintenance field, with the chance to learn valuable skills in apartment and property maintenance.
