Manufacturing Technician II

Role Overview Manufacturing Technician provides and supports manufacturing equipment, materials, and processes to ensure efficient assembly of products, meeting customer quality, expectations, and on‑time delivery specifications. Responsibilities Creates and maintains machine programs and profiles for new and existing products. Aids in maintaining product routings, drawing packets, and interpreting instructions/specifications for manufacturing operators. Troubleshoots operator problems, works with leadership on training and process improvements. Communicates problems to Engineers and/or leader. Assists in testing and qualification for new equipment, materials, and processes. Assists in performing experiments for failure analysis and root‑cause analysis. Recommends additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers for product debug areas. Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities. Complies and follows all company security policies and procedures. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors; exercises judgment to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Qualifications 5+ years of experience and ability to effectively train diverse groups. Good analytical skills and ability to assimilate a wide range of data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effective interpersonal, multitasking, organization, and prioritization skills. High attention to detail. Ability to work with diverse groups and exercise discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment, and professionalism. Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance, exercising discretion and independent judgment. Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools. Strong customer service and client focus. Working knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office products and WebEx conferencing software. 2‑year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent education and experience as approved by executive management. Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required. Education 2‑year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Schedule Shift 2 – Monday to Thursday, 15:30 to 02:00. Location Rochester, MN. Compensation and Benefits Compensation Range: $24.26 to $30.33 USD per hour.
