We're proud of our clean-label, natural products and our commitment to freshness and quality.As a Maintenance Technician, you will work with the maintenance manager to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. You'll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, complete preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. Attention to detail is necessary for completing inventory and shift notes. We strongly believe in "Safety First, Quality Always" for our employees, products, and customers. If this is something you're passionate about also, this could be your next great opportunity!Important areas of operations you'll work on (but are not limited to):Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machineryTroubleshoot and repair machinery such as extruders, mixers, conveyors, and metal detectorsInstall and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipmentRepair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipmentBuilding maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeepRepair and assess electrical issues as they ariseWhat you'll need to be successful:Must have High School Diploma or GED.State of Minnesota First or Second Class B Boiler license desired.BUM/FAST program (or equivalent) highly desired.3+ years' experience required. (Prior experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred).Required skills Mechanical repair, general welding, ability to use hand tools, hand-held power tools, and basic computer skills.Must have the ability to work alone and in close cooperation with production personnel and be capable of working through complex problems alone or with others to provide logical solutions.The pay rate for this position is $33.00 - 39.00 per hour.
