Principal AI Architect

Salary: $109,000 - 149,000 per year Requirements:

• We need 10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, and enterprise systems design.
• We look for proven success delivering end-to-end AI/ML and Generative AI solutions in production environments.
• Strong hands-on engineering ability is required, with the capacity to work across architecture, design, and implementation.
• We require deep expertise in LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and agent-based systems.
• Experience with agent frameworks and orchestration, including multi-agent patterns and integrations, is expected.
• We need strong Python development experience, including building APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and implementing solutions on cloud platforms, with Azure preferred, is important.
• We expect familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, containerization, and scalable deployment of AI systems.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Bicep, plus Kubernetes-based deployments, is required.
• We need a solid understanding of data architecture and integration patterns that support AI workloads.
• The role requires the ability to assess emerging technologies and turn them into enterprise-scale capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of AI governance, risk, compliance, privacy, and responsible AI principles is necessary.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required.

• Proven experience mentoring, guiding, and elevating engineering and architecture teams is needed.
• A Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM field is required.

• We architect and deliver end-to-end AI, Generative AI, and agentic AI solutions from concept through production.
• We build LLM-based systems, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and multi-agent orchestration solutions.
• We design AI platform capabilities, including model selection, LLM routing, retrieval strategies, memory systems, and tool/function orchestration.
• We lead hands-on prototyping and proofs of concept to validate technologies and accelerate adoption.
• We ensure AI solutions are built for performance, scalability, observability, privacy, and operational readiness.
• We define and drive architecture across multiple domains and business segments, aligned to enterprise strategy.
• We partner with business and technology leaders to shape the AI roadmap, priorities, and execution plan.
• We establish architecture standards, reusable patterns, and best practices.
• We drive modernization efforts to reduce technical debt and improve scalability, resilience, and performance.
• We implement and guide AI governance, security, responsible AI, and compliance practices.
• We collaborate across engineering, data, product, and business teams to deliver production-grade AI solutions.
• We mentor engineers and architects and communicate AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• We help lead adoption of AI-enabled tools within the team, coach employees on effective use, monitor productivity and quality impact, and identify process improvements.
• We maintain a customer-first mindset by building a deep understanding of our organization, products, operations, and customers while prioritizing collaboration and service quality.
• We continuously evaluate the evolving AI landscape, including LLMs, agents, frameworks, and tools.
