Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To : serving, dishwashing, assisting in the kitchen, back-up cashier, miscellaneous kitchen tasks as needed and office related tasks assigned by the Food Service Director.


Qualifications Include But Not Limited To :

1. Familiar with food service activities.
2. Ability to understand basic nutrition, sanitation, and federal regulations.
3. Knowledge of the National School Lunch Program desirable.
4. Ability to work on a team to accomplish a task.
5. Ability to work with students and district employees.
6. Ability to stand, squat, lift 40 lbs., use kitchen equipment.
7. Ability to operate dishwasher.
8. Ability to manage handling/counting of money.
9. Must demonstrate knowledge of quantity baking and food preparation.
10. Must demonstrate good math skills.
11. Must demonstrate good organizational skills.
12. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
13. Good written and verbal communication skills.
14. Ability and willingness to follow directions (written and oral) and demonstrative initiative.
15. Ability to understand basic nutrition, sanitation, and federal regulations.
16. Ability to operate equipment, interact well with others, perform as a team member.

External applicants are required to provide a letter of interest, resume, three (3) letters of recommendations, and the following forms current within one year: Act 34 (PA Criminal History) and Act 151 (PA Child Abuse History) clearances, FBI criminal background check, and Act 82 form. Additional paperwork will be required prior to/upon hire, including but not limited to PA School Health Record with TB test, Act 168 for current and previous employers and I-9 form with appropriate work authorization documents.
