Physical Therapist Technician

PT TechnicianAt Confluent Health and our family of affiliated brands, our PT Technicians are an important part of the patient experience. Whether you're looking to grow as a PT Technician or gain experience as you pursue a future in physical therapy or healthcare, you'll be part of a team where your contribution matters.Responsibilities:Greet patients and bring them to treatment areas, ensuring they have a staff member with themGuide patients through exercise programs as directed by the treating therapistSet up and take down modalities such as heat, ice, e-stim, Game Ready, and Normatec as directed by the therapistClean and sanitize treatment tables, equipment, and rooms between patientsKeep the clinic stocked and organized, including laundry and restocking suppliesAnticipate the needs of therapists and patients and assist where neededSupport the front desk and other members of the clinic team during downtimeProtect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in every interactionQualifications:High school diploma or GEDStrong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages, including those who may be experiencing pain or discomfortAbility to follow direction from licensed therapists and carry out assigned patient support activitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced clinic environmentAbility to work collaboratively with therapists, front office staff, and other members of the clinic teamAbility to take initiative and identify clinic, patient, and team needs within the scope of the roleAbility to remain on your feet throughout your shift and perform routine clinic activities including cleaning, laundry, restocking supplies, and moving equipmentAbility to maintain patient privacy and follow HIPAA and clinic standardsReliable attendance and the ability to commit to a consistent work schedule; daytime availability is preferredPreferred:Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in kinesiology, exercise science, health science, biology, or a related pre- PT field preferredPrevious experience in customer service, fitness, personal training, coaching, sports, or another patient- or customer-facing environment preferredWe provide training on clinic workflows, modalities, cleaning standards, and patient care support.Compensation: $16.00/hr - $17.00/hrSchedule: PRNConfluent Health, LLC and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
