Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans that address their unique circumstances. Provide individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Support clients coping with PTSD and various complex emotional and behavioral issues, focusing on building resilience and coping strategies. Manage client cases effectively, ensuring coordination with additional care providers and stakeholders for optimal treatment outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ICD-9 guidelines, ensuring thorough records of client progress and program effectiveness. Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers, to enhance client care. Offer guidance to families and children, fostering healthy communication skills and strengthening family dynamics. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families seeking therapy for diverse mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma recovery. Understanding the unique needs of our client population in Bakersfield is essential, as many individuals may face socioeconomic challenges affecting their mental health. Qualifications Possession of a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field. An active and valid LMFT license issued in California, demonstrating your qualifications to practice as a licensed practitioner. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in providing therapy and case management, showcasing a solid background in mental health practices. Expertise in evidence-based methods, particularly CBT and ABA, to effectively enhance therapy outcomes. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
