As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a government location through routine vehicle and foot patrols, visible presence to help deter incidents, and professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or authorized personnel at a government location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, or unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and maintain accurate records of entries, incidents, and daily activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with site response procedures. Communicate professionally with government personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while following post orders and applicable procedures. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
