Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $17.51 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders. Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed. Document incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
