Senior Director, US Medical Affairs, Obesity, MD

Senior Director role leading US Medical Affairs strategy for berobenatide in obesity and related conditions. Responsible for medical strategy execution, evidence generation, cross-functional coordination, and external scientific engagement across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and execution of US Medical Affairs strategy for berobenatide in obesity
- Manage medical affairs budget and ensure compliant cross-functional coordination of medical tactics
- Support and shape US evidence generation strategy including Phase IV studies and publications
- Establish and grow relationships with US thought leaders and professional societies in obesity
- Represent US Medical Affairs at national and international scientific conferences
Requirements
- MD with 5+ years pharmaceutical industry experience
- Strong understanding of obesity or cardiometabolic care delivery across primary, specialty, and health system settings
- Experience developing integrated scientific engagement strategies across healthcare stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability designing stakeholder segmentation and evidence generation programs
- Prior field medical leadership or substantial partnership experience with credibility among field teams
- Experience establishing governed scientific collaborations with healthcare institutions and professional societies
- Ability to align medical strategy across functions without direct reporting authority
Compensation: $254,100-$423,500 base salary, plus 25% bonus target and long-term incentive eligibility
