Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full Time

We are seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students within an assigned geographic area. The SLP will be responsible for IEP management and conducting comprehensive assessments. This role includes evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders; developing individualized treatment plans; maintaining accurate and timely documentation; and collaborating with faculty and parents to communicate student progress. Work Setting: School Based Location: San Fernando Valley, CA (Los Angeles), including to our central office in Pasadena, CA, for meetings. Employment Type: Full Time Pay Range: $93,000.00 - $139,000.00 per year What You’ll Do Assesses the needs of pupils with speech or language disorders and matches their needs with programs available through the educational system. Meets with students regularly according to the treatment program schedule, evaluates, and maintains records of students' progress. Reports progress to faculty members and meets with them on a regular basis to discuss their evaluations of students' skills as demonstrated in class performance and social interaction with other students. Develop individual speech and language programs based upon assessment results. Participate in the eligibility and planning required for development of the IEP when a communication disorder is present. Reports progress to parents and meets with them regularly. Suggest activities parents can do with their child to assist and supplement the student's speech therapy program. Repeat evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines. Travel to school site within assigned region. Maintain student progress records as required. Performs other duties as assigned. What You Bring Valid California SLP License / CTC Credential or eligibility for a state waiver A valid license/RPE issued from Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board, California. Must be legally eligible to work in United States. Maintain a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites, is required.
