Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the accounting function, including bookkeeping, general ledger, and month-end close. Ensure compliance with multi-state financial regulations, including sales tax reporting. Manage treasury functions, with a strong emphasis on cash flow and payment tracking. Handle payroll processing and exception management. Maintain financial procedures, reporting, and record-keeping. Collaborate with sales and operations to understand customer activity and sales impact. Utilize QuickBooks for accounting and QuoteWorks for quoting functions. Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure timely book closings. Serve as the point person for financial compliance and internal controls. “Fight fires” as needed in a fast-paced, growing environment. Leverage Excel expertise for reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting. Communicate effectively across teams, ensuring clarity in financial matters. Requirements 5–10 years of financial/accounting experience, ideally with exposure to both public accounting (firm experience) and corporate finance. Strong knowledge of compliance, sales tax, and multi-state reporting. Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and payroll systems. Proven treasury management skills, particularly in cash flow oversight. Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling). Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. Self-starter with the ability to adapt and thrive in a growing company.
