As you gain experience and expertise, you will have the opportunity to move through different levels of this career ladder.Summary:As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, providesdirectpatient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.Responsibilities:Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions.Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.Requirements:Basic Life SupportLicensed Practical NurseGraduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program.State licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Relevant certification as determined at position level.BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
