As a valued special education professional, you will play a key role in delivering individualized instruction to an elementary caseload, tailoring educational plans to meet each student’s unique strengths and needs. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification/licensure for Wisconsin, or eligibility to obtain
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and implementation of accommodations/modifications
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a positive, flexible attitude and adapt to diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instructional services to a diverse elementary caseload
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate actively in meetings with parents, school professionals, and other stakeholders
• Employ evidence-based interventions and positive behavioral supports
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
