Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Experience working with elementary-age students preferred
- Knowledge of IEP process and implementation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop individualized instructional plans
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, positive classroom culture
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to a diverse elementary caseload
- Develop and maintain IEPs, ensuring accommodations and modifications are tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to promote student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with legal and district requirements
- Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
