Nutrition Coordinator

Coordinator Of Nutrition Services Student NutritionUnder the supervision of the Director of Nutrition Services, the Coordinator of Nutrition Services Student Nutrition is responsible for assisting with department nutritional needs to ensure compliance with the USDA program guidelines. Job responsibilities include assisting in creating menus and coordinating data requirements for ingredients, recipes, nutritional analysis including allergy information and linking changes to food production records and order guides. The Coordinator will also coordinate and maintain District Nutritional Software: Titan, NutriSlice menus and digital signage. Additionally, they will assist with developing and implementing Nutrition Services Social Media presence, implement and maintain monthly parent communications, and manage District Special Diets in compliance with USDA. Other duties of a similar nature or level may be performed.Qualifications include a completed 4 year degree in Business, Foodservice Management or comparable Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree. Membership in MSNA/School Nutrition Association is required, along with an MSNA Level 4 certificate within 1 year of hire date. Experience in a school district and/or foodservice is desired. A Registered Dietitian is preferred, as well as ServeSafe certification. A Certified Food Protection Manager's license is required within 90 days of hire date. Evidence of excellent mathematical skills, computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook, ability to learn and apply new software programs for various applications, excellent human relation, communication and supervisory skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, excellent organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, and ability to work autonomously by anticipating, analyzing, and problem-solving various situations as they occur are also required. The ability to perform duties under pressure, handle constant interruptions and adjust to changing priorities is essential.Salary and benefits include a minimum salary of $85,000 with a competitive benefits package. The terms and conditions for this position will be covered by an individual letter of assignment, so will not be in a bargaining group.
